as i walked down the stairs of the mrt station, this young man approached me. i knew it was nothing good.

man: Hi! i'm doing a savings survey. are u studying or working?
me: studying
man: oh are u from poly?? Singapore poly?
me: *faints* !!! NO JC!
man: how much do you get per month?
me: ard 180
man: so little?
me: erm.. if u think so...
man: so how much do you save?
me: 50 bucks
man:do you know wads endowments?
me: erm.. not very sure
man: okay so i bet u put it in ur savings bank right and right now the bank is only giving you 1.9% which for long term investments u get like 4% and the inflation rate now is about 3% so in the end u get less if u put in savings account.... blah....
me: haha that's interesting but i know my economics
man: oh that's good. all the more you shud know abt long term
me: yea.. wad are u trying to tell me?
man: oh i'm jus trying to tell u the difference between the two
me: (wth la.. trying to educate me huh!) oh i jus let my parents decide! my bus is coming!!
man: HOW CANNNN!! *whines*
me: pls la i dun have money now how to save, even if i have it's not even my money laaaa. i'm not interested..
man: ok lo
he looked quite sad hahaha.

okay.. off to watch apprentice!
