This morning, my mum decided that we need a cordless phone, so my parents and I made our way down to courts to purchase a phone. It was early in the morning and courts was still not open yet. However, to our horror, we saw a long queue forming at the entrance of courts. Out of the corner of my eyes, i saw a small poster "free gardenia white bread for first 50 customers" erm.. people are queueing up for gardenia bread? Before i knew it the doors of courts opened. People rushed to grab coupons for the free gardenia bread. There were also coupons for phones, pillows, mugs, plates.... all for the price of 31 cents! how cheap is that! Anyway i got shoved around by stupid uncles and aunties. Finally, i managed to get one coupon to buy a phone.. and entered the air-conditioned courts. As i strolled slowly in, people around me ran past me like they are running for their lives. They grabbed all the stuff that were 31 cents. wad a mad rush! Still, despite strolling, i managed to get one phone. We walked around to purchase other stuff and made our way home. Wad a mad day!
