So, my plans for saturday.. went jogging in the morning!! sheesh i'm really lousy now.. i miss the times when i could easily clock a good timing in 2.4. now i'm like shit.. yucks!

after that went town for dinner! had pepper lunch which didnt taste very nice. it was too sweet and too salty! the result of too much sauce:(

i expected orchard to be crowded with pple because of the Chingay thingy but everywhere seemed quite toned down. and i couldnt really see much cos everyone was blocking me and we were standing so far away. saw some pretty costumes and performances but overall there wasnt any great atmosphere.. merely occasional cheers from the public.

then i saw the Chinese high band. oh! they were so distinct. they wore red uniforms and had hats with yellow feathers sticking out. make them look really communist.

decided there was nothing else to do.. so we went to watch movie! wanted to watch matchpoint but there were no seats so settled with fun with dick and jane which wasnt too hilarious but quite entertaining. there's this crazy woman who laughs really loud and high pitch, sitting right behind me.

anyway the movie ended at 11 and we stupidly thought that the buses wud come by orchard road since the roads had opened by then. but for half and hour, there was no sight of my bus while other buses were aplenty. urgh eventually reached home at 1240... daddy waited up for me..

woke up early for driving. haven drove in weeks cos of CNY and now i can only afford the time to drive on weekends.. when there are super lot of L plate drivers.

came back to be greeted by a lion dance at my condo. the management has organised some cny celebration and every year there would be lion dance. the dancers looked young think prolly from some sec sch lion dance. quite professional.. quite interesting. as you know.. the lions wud peel oranges onto a red plate. i ate one slice of it and it had lion hair on it!! spat it out..

and then there was buffet. the cream puff and chocolate eclair was good.. the rest of the food wasnt so nice and i laoed yusheng for the first time this cny. there was lucky draw too! wasnt too lucky!! i suspect foul play hehehe..

there's work tmr.. i'm looking forward to next weekend!!
